The Lindy 2 Port HDMI 18G Bi-Directional Switch provides a compact, reliable solution for routing HDMI signals in residential, education and professional AV environments. Engineered for tidy installations, the unit allows either two sources to feed one display or a single source to feed two displays, selectable at the push of a button. Its metal housing and minimal footprint make it suitable for discreet placement near displays, AV racks or presentation podiums.

Technically the switch supports a Maximum Resolution: 4096x2160@60Hz with full 4:4:4 8-bit colour and is built to the HDMI 2.0 (Premium High Speed) standard. It handles a Bandwidth: 18 Gbps and offers CEC Support and audio pass-through for simple integration with modern AV systems. No external power supply is required as the unit is powered via the HDMI interface and is designed for passive operation, ensuring clean installation without additional cabling.

Compatibility is broad: the switch works with 4K Blu-ray players, media streamers, games consoles and set-top boxes as well as 4K displays and projectors. HDCP-protected content is passed through and the device supports standard HDMI audio formats. Its simple control and passive design make it ideal for meeting rooms, classrooms, small studios and residential media centres.
