With an overall diameter of 3.6mm it reduces cable clutter and flexibility to use in tight spaces such as behind wall mounted TV's.These cables are active to provide high bandwidth over thin cable and they are unidirectional and labelled for easy installation.The small connector plugs directly into the source (PC, DVD, Blur-Ray etc..), the larger connector marked TV plugs directly into the display.
